Edutopia wanted to update their brand and optimize the site experience for mobile devices.
We sought to optimize and simplify navigation, elevate the experience on mobile, and present a modern, clean brand expression.
We introduced a brand vision of one voice, everywhere and overhauled the user experience by crafting a highly intentional design system of touch-optimized patterns centered around the reading experience.
The brand basics also underwent a reboot, with a bolder color palette, optimized typography and clear iconography.
We also raised the bar on visual storytelling, introducing custom commissioned illustrations, original photography and full bleed feature images.
